Note From the RD

RDRx Nutrition is where you can find credible nutrition and fitness advice. No Fad Diets. Just real food, meal ideas and workouts provided by yours truly, Haley Hughes MS, RD, CDE, CF-L1.

I decided to start nutrition and recipe blogging because many of my patients and clients have brought it to my attention that there are SO MANY rumors being spread. Let’s quit the quick fix diet gossip already!

I have people tell me things like “carrots are too high in sugar”, “bacon is a freebie food”, and “bread makes you fat”. What?!

I want to share with you my attempts at a balanced lifestyle. It’s not going to be perfect but who wants that anyway? Let’s be REAL.

I am a dietitian and yes I eat donuts and fries but I also strive to have a balanced plate for the majority of the time and let’s not forget about exercise. Without healthy eating and activity you cannot live life to the fullest, physically or mentally. So here it is, RDRx Nutrition.
