For those of you as crazy as I am about blueberry picking, this Alaskan Wild Blueberry Pie is an amazing way to use them!
Wow. This wild blueberry pie is freaking good and just a fair warning your mouth will be stained blue after indulging in a piece…or two.
I’ll be honest my sister (who won’t share her secret blueberry picking spot) is the one who did all the work for this pie, but shortly after eating it we had to make another. We spent hours picking berries because it’s so worth it. There are places all over Anchorage, Girdwood and Eagle River to pick berries and the hikes are always worth it.
Alaska is a pretty amazing place to explore nature. Summertime is unreal with the amount of outdoor activities it has to offer. Blueberry picking is one of my favorite things to do for the views and it’s so much fun! Finding the best bushes full of berries is rewarding and also a competition with my family.
