Everyone needs an easy homemade salsa recipe, whether you are hosting a party or just love chips and dip!

This healthy homemade salsa is a great way to flavor protein, salads, snacks, eggs, etc. There are so many uses! It’s a tasty vegetable option adding flavor and nutrition. I use salsa on fish, salsa on chicken and dip celery sticks in it too!

Salsa Nutrition Info:

Tomatoes:  contain the antioxidant lycopene, which has been linked to many health benefits, including reduced risk of heart disease and cancer. Tomato nutritionals include vitamin C, potassium, folate and vitamin K.

Bell Peppers:  are a low calorie vegetable that is high in vitamin C and antioxidants. Bell peppers come in various colors, such as green, red, yellow, and orange! All bell peppers have health benefits!

Garlic:  spice low in calories and rich in vitamin C, vitamin B6 and manganese. It also contains trace amounts of various other nutrients including research behind heart healthy properties. We use our garlic mincer all the time! 

Cilantro: is rich in phytonutrients, flavonoids and phenolic compounds.

Lime Juice: great source of vitamin C, adding tons of citrusy flavor!
